Bruce Sagan, longtime Chicago publisher and arts champion, dies at 96

Illinois Humanities is deeply saddened by the loss of Bruce Sagan. A lifelong champion of the humanities, Bruce and his wife, Bette Cerf Hill, were honored with our 2012 Public Humanities Award. Journalism and Chicago have lost a treasure. Our deepest sympathies go out to the Sagan family.
